This exquisite sandwich is a true embodiment of gastronomic harmony. European cuisine combines the tenderness of cream cheese, the spiciness of pesto sauce, and the appetizing juiciness of tiger shrimp in this dish. The roots of such a combination can be found in Mediterranean traditions, where seafood and aromatic herbs have always played a key role. Crispy toasted bread serves as the perfect base, soaking up the garlic aroma and highlighting the rich texture of the filling. The cream of soft cheese and pesto adds creamy depth to the dish, while arugula and cherry tomatoes provide freshness and a slight tanginess. This is not just a sandwich but an exquisite gastronomic experience perfect for leisurely morning breakfasts or light snacks to savor with every bite.

1
First, you need to toast or dry the bread — it's up to you. I used a grill pan for this, but you can toast the bread in a regular pan; however, it will absorb all the vegetable oil. You can also dry it in the oven. In general, if you found a grill pan, pour in a tablespoon of vegetable oil and toast the bread.
- Vegetable oil: 1 tablespoon
- White bread for toast: 2 pieces
2
Rub the toasted bread with a clove of garlic and set aside. Meanwhile, mix the cottage cheese and pesto in a separate bowl, then spread the resulting cream on the bread and set aside.
- Garlic: 1 clove
- Soft cottage cheese: 4 tablespoons
- Pesto: 3 teaspoons
3
While frying the bread and preparing the cream, boil the shrimp, then rinse them with cold water and clean.
- Tiger prawns: 8 pieces
4
Heat the pan, pour in some oil, add the remaining garlic, when it browns and gives a light aroma, remove it and add the shrimp to the oil, frying on both sides.
- Vegetable oil: 1 tablespoon
- Garlic: 1 clove
- Tiger prawns: 8 pieces
5
Place the grilled shrimp on bread with cream, add arugula leaves and cherry tomatoes.
- Tiger prawns: 8 pieces
- Arugula: to taste
- Cherry tomatoes: 30 g
