Homemade hamburgers with pickles are the perfect way to enjoy the taste of a classic burger in a cozy home atmosphere. Their history traces back to American fast food traditions, but in a homemade version, they become juicier and more aromatic. The main feature is the combination of tender meat patties, melted cheese, and refreshing crunchy cabbage complemented by tangy gherkins. Hamburgers are served on soft buns that can be lightly toasted for an appetizing texture. Each layer is infused with flavors—from rich ketchup and mayonnaise to spices that enhance the meat taste. They make an excellent treat for family lunches or parties with friends, filling the home with the aromas of freshly prepared dishes.

1
Put the minced meat in a large bowl, add two chicken eggs, salt, pepper, spices to taste and mix. Add flour so that the patties are not loose and do not fall apart.
- Ground beef: 500 g
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Spices: to taste
- Wheat flour: 100 g
2
Heat a frying pan with sunflower oil, wet your hands with water, shape the patties (I get 7 good patties from the whole mince) and fry them for 5 minutes on each side.
- Ground beef: 500 g
3
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and bake the patties for 20-25 minutes to ensure they are cooked through.
- Ground beef: 500 g
4
While the cutlets are baking, take the Beijing cabbage and slice its leaves into strips, cut the tomatoes into thin rounds, and the gherkins into strips.
- Chinese cabbage: 1 bunch
- Tomatoes: 2 pieces
- Gherkins: 1 jar
5
Take the patties out of the oven and let them cool a bit to avoid burning yourself. Then cut each patty in half — this gives us 14 patties, enough for 14 hamburgers or 7 Big Macs.
- Ground beef: 500 g
6
Cut the bun in half, don't forget to warm it up, you can do this in a toaster, then it will be slightly crispy.
- Hamburger bun: 7 pieces
7
Layer the hamburger: bottom bun - a bit of ketchup - patty - slice of cheese - slice of tomato - a few strips of gherkin - a bit of mayonnaise - a handful of cabbage and on top - the second bun.
- Ketchup: to taste
- Ground beef: 500 g
- Processed cheese sliced: 7 pieces
- Tomatoes: 2 pieces
- Gherkins: 1 jar
- Mayonnaise: to taste
- Chinese cabbage: 1 bunch
