A ham sandwich is the embodiment of simplicity and sophistication in European cuisine. A crispy baguette, lightly toasted to a golden crust, serves as the perfect base for thin slices of ham – a Spanish delicacy with a rich flavor and refined aroma. Juicy tomato adds freshness, creating a harmony of textures and tastes. This dish requires no complex preparation but impresses with its elegance. In Spain, ham is a symbol of gastronomic culture, and such a sandwich is often served for breakfast or as a light snack. It pairs perfectly with a glass of red wine or a cup of strong coffee, offering pleasure with every bite.

We cut the baguette into pieces about 12 cm long, then slice each piece lengthwise to get two halves. We lightly toast each half in the toaster for about 30-40 seconds.

Slice the tomatoes into rounds and place two rounds on each sandwich.
- Tomatoes: 2 pieces
