A hamburger with homemade yeast buns is a harmony of taste and quality born from the traditions of German cuisine. Its base consists of airy buns made with care and patience, providing a tender texture and light sweetness. Juicy ground beef, fried to a golden crust, highlights the rich meat flavor, while fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and aromatic cheese add freshness and appetizing contrast to the burger. The history of the hamburger begins in the port city of Hamburg, from where its recipe spread worldwide. Unlike classic fast-food versions, this homemade variant stands out for its special ingredient quality and the ability to enjoy every detail of preparation. An ideal choice for a cozy family dinner or friendly gatherings.

Dissolve yeast and sugar in a warm mixture of milk and water, let it sit for 5 minutes, then add oil, salt, and egg while gradually adding sifted flour to knead the dough. It should be very soft and may stick a little to your hands; this will make the buns airier but should not be too runny. Transfer the dough to a pot greased with vegetable oil, cover with a lid, and place in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Dry yeast: 10 g
- Sugar: 10 g
- Olive oil: 10 ml
- Salt: 5 teaspoon
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Milk: 50 ml
- Wheat flour: 200 g

When the dough rises, transfer it to an oiled table, oil your hands as well, do not use more flour, divide the dough into 8-9 balls. Line a baking sheet with oiled paper, place the rolls on it, gently press them with your hands, shape them neatly, cover with plastic wrap, and let rise for another 10-15 minutes. Then preheat the oven to 200 degrees, press the rolls slightly again, brush with beaten egg, and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Place the rolls in the warm oven without waiting for it to heat up too much. Bake until golden brown.
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Sesame: 30 g

When the rolls are ready, take them out of the oven and set aside covered with a napkin.

Do not add anything to the minced meat except for egg, salt, and pepper to taste, mix it. If it seems too liquid, you can add a little breadcrumbs. Form round flat patties, as they will shrink a bit while frying, make them larger. Fry until cooked in a grill pan with a little vegetable oil, or just in a regular pan.
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Ground beef: 350 g
- Salt: 5 teaspoon
- Tomatoes: 200 g
