Beef stew and green onion sandwiches are the embodiment of comfort in American cuisine. The origins of this dish trace back to the traditions of slow-cooking meat popular in the southern states of the USA. Beef gently simmered with onions, garlic, and tomato sauce acquires a rich flavor infused with spices and sweet-spicy barbecue aromas. The starch thickener turns the sauce into a silky glaze that envelops the meat fibers. The sandwiches are served on soft buns sprinkled with fresh green onions, adding freshness and lightness. This dish is perfect for both family lunches and lively parties when you want to enjoy juiciness and depth of flavor without unnecessary complexity. An indispensable treat for those who appreciate tradition but are not averse to adding a touch of modernity.
