Mimosa Salad with Light Mayonnaise

Mimosa salad is one of the most delicate and cozy dishes of Russian cuisine, popular at holidays and family dinners. Its name is associated with the airy texture and bright yellow layer of crumbled yolks resembling a blooming mimosa bush. The taste of the salad is surprisingly harmonious: the juicy fish base with canned salmon pairs perfectly with soft potatoes, sweet carrots, and tangy onions. Light mayonnaise gives the salad a silky texture without weighing down the flavor, while dill adds freshness. The salad is served chilled, ideally soaking through the layers to create a tender and rich flavor combination. 'Mimosa' is not only a table decoration but also a symbol of cozy gatherings with loved ones filled with taste and warmth.
