Salad with red beans, chicken and croutons

Salad with red beans, chicken, and croutons is a hearty and appetizing dish from European cuisine. The combination of tender chicken breast, crunchy rye croutons, and sweet corn creates a harmony of flavors and textures, while Chinese cabbage adds freshness and juiciness. Red beans add a light nutty note and make the salad more nutritious. Dressed with mayonnaise, it gains softness and richness. An ideal option for a quick lunch or festive table, this salad is easy to prepare and doesn't require complex ingredients. It is especially good in warm weather when you want lightness without losing heartiness. Serve it immediately after adding the croutons to maintain their crunchy texture. Enjoy your meal!

1
Wash the chicken breast and boil it in salted water until cooked. Remove, cool down, and cut into small pieces about 7-10mm (you can replace this ingredient with white canned beans or omit it altogether; the salad won't be worse for it!).
- Chicken breast: 2 pieces
2
Open the cans, drain all the water, and transfer the corn and beans to a deep container. Add the chicken breast to them.
- Canned red beans: 1 jar
- Canned corn: 1 jar
- Chicken breast: 2 pieces
3
Separate the leaves of Chinese cabbage from the head (take as many leaves as you like; if you want a juicier salad, don't be stingy!), cut the leaves lengthwise into 2-3 pieces, and then slice into strips about 5mm thick. Transfer to the same container.
- Chinese cabbage: 1 piece
4
Mix all the ingredients and dress with mayonnaise. 20-30 minutes before serving, open a packet of rye croutons like '3 korochki' (you can choose flavors as you wish, I prefer bacon), break them into smaller pieces and add to the salad, mix, and add more mayonnaise if needed. For decoration, you can sprinkle some croutons and greens on top. Enjoy your meal!
- Mayonnaise: to taste
- Crackers: 50 g
