Lyon salad is a refined dish of French cuisine that comes from the gastronomic capital of France—Lyon. It perfectly combines the freshness of greens, the spiciness of smoked chicken breast, and the tenderness of poached egg. Cherry tomatoes add a slight tanginess, while balsamic vinegar enhances the flavor, adding sophistication. The finishing touch is grated Parmesan, which adds depth to the taste. This salad is often served in traditional Lyon bistros where simplicity and quality of ingredients are valued. Lyon salad is an ideal choice for a light yet rich lunch or dinner when you want to enjoy classic French cuisine.
