Hot pasta salad is a harmony of Italian traditions and fresh vegetables. This hearty, vibrant, and aromatic salad evokes cozy family dinners in sunny Italy. Spiral pasta or shells perfectly hold the sauce and tender pieces of ham, creating a rich flavor. Sweet peppers and cherry tomatoes, lightly sautéed in vegetable oil, reveal their natural sweetness, while green peas and beans add fresh notes and pleasant texture. Spicy spices give the dish a distinctive character. It can be dressed with mayonnaise for a creamy consistency or left light to enjoy the natural flavors of the ingredients. This dish is perfect for lunch or warm home evenings, filling the house with Mediterranean aromas.
