Classic vinaigrette with cumin is a vibrant dish of Russian cuisine, rooted in the traditions of the 19th century. Its distinctive taste comes from the combination of sweet beetroot, tender potatoes, pickled cucumbers, and spicy onions, while cumin adds a special depth to the aroma. Cumin is known for its health benefits; it improves digestion and enriches the dish further. Canned green peas add softness, and unrefined vegetable oil enhances the flavor. Vinaigrette is perfect as a standalone dish or as a side to meat and fish. It refreshes, satisfies, and perfectly complements any feast. Due to its simplicity in preparation and natural ingredients, vinaigrette with cumin remains a beloved treat in many families.
