Layered salad with tuna and cheese is a refined dish of Russian cuisine that combines the tenderness of fish, freshness of vegetables, and richness of cheese. Its multi-layered structure makes the salad not only tasty but also aesthetically appealing. The history of the dish traces back to the tradition of creating layered salads where each ingredient harmoniously complements the others. The taste of the salad is balanced: the softness of tuna and eggs is highlighted by the crunchy freshness of cucumbers, while cheese adds a spicy note. A light creaminess is achieved through mayonnaise that unites all layers into a single composition. This salad will be a decoration for a festive table and is perfect as an appetizer or standalone dish, especially when paired with rye bread and greens.
