Olivier with bacon

Olivier with bacon is an original variation of the famous Russian salad, first created by chef Lucien Olivier in the 19th century. In this version, the classic combination of potatoes, eggs, cucumbers, and peas takes on a new flavor thanks to the smoked bacon that adds zest and richness. The creamy texture of the mayonnaise harmoniously blends the ingredients, while a pinch of paprika adds a slight spiciness. Olivier with bacon is perfect for festive gatherings and warm family dinners, combining tradition with bold experimentation. It can be served as a standalone dish or as a side to meat appetizers.
