Chicken salad with fruits and nuts is a light and refreshing dish of Russian cuisine, combining tender chicken fillet, sweet grapes, apple, and crunchy walnuts. Historically, such salads emerged as an experiment in combining meat and fruits to create a balance of flavors—from sweet to salty and tangy. The dressing made from mayonnaise and yogurt adds a creamy texture and a slight tanginess. This salad is perfect for a light dinner or festive table and pairs well with white wines or fresh bread.
