Herring under a fur coat
12 servings
120 minutes
The great Soviet salad "Herring under a fur coat", the recipe of which changes slightly based on the needs and views of the hostess, but the essence remains unshakable - a strong union of sweet beets and salted fish. The rest is optional. Someone puts more onion, someone thinks it's a crime to cook a salad with apple - in this recipe it is there and works great here, responsible for freshness and slightly muting the bright herring.
