Every blade of grass in a plate is a vitamin - that's the motto of the most affordable country salad. There is no authentic recipe for this folk immunity booster - someone mixes a vitamin salad of just cabbage and carrots with chopped deer , someone adds green apple strips, and someone - black currants. You can prepare a vitamin salad as an appetizer or a side dish. And you can, if you follow the example of its closest relative - the American salad "cole slaw" - put it in burgers and sandwiches as a vegetable component

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Chop the cabbage into thin strips.
- White cabbage: 500 g

Transfer to a bowl, add salt, and knead well with your hands.
- Salt: 0.5 teaspoon

Peel the apple.
- Green apples: 1 piece
