Shrimp rice is an exquisite dish of European cuisine that combines the tenderness of seafood with the rich flavor of parmesan. The origins of this recipe can be found in Mediterranean tradition, where fresh shrimp are often used in light, aromatic dishes. Fried rice absorbs meat broth, gaining depth of flavor, while shrimp add delicate sweetness. Grated parmesan completes the composition with a creamy texture. This versatile dish is perfect for both family dinners and festive tables. Served hot, accompanied by fresh herbs and a light white wine that enhances the taste of seafood.

Boil water in a kettle and add a broth cube (I used beef broth with bone). Stir.

Pour olive oil into a deep pot with a thick bottom and heat it.
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
3
Wash the rice well and dry it for a couple of minutes.

After that, throw it into the pot and fry for about one minute.

Then add the prepared broth to the rice.

Once the rice boils, reduce the heat slightly and cook until the water starts to evaporate. Then switch the heat to low, cover the rice with a lid, and cook for 15-20 minutes without stirring. If all the water evaporates and the rice is not yet cooked, add water in a thin stream.
- Boiling water: 400 ml
7
While the rice is cooking, prepare the shrimp. Boil water in a pot and add the shrimp to the boiling water.
- Shrimps: 500 g
8
Add salt to taste.

9
When the shrimp boil, cook for 2 minutes and drain the water.
10
Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
- Grated Parmesan cheese: 20 g
11
Add cheese and shrimp to the pot with cooked rice.
- Shrimps: 500 g
