Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Chop the onion coarsely. Remove the sausages from their casing. Melt butter in a saucepan. Sauté the onion until translucent, then add the sausages and cook, breaking them into small pieces. Fry until golden brown. Add saffron and chopped apple and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
- Unsalted butter: 4 tablespoons
- Onion: 1 head
- Pork sausages: 500 g
- Ground sage: 1 tablespoon

Add the flour and cook for another 2 minutes. Then pour in the vinegar and after 2 minutes add the milk. Cook for about 8 minutes, stirring, until the sauce thickens. Add half of the grated cheese, season with salt and pepper, and cook until the cheese melts.

- Milk: 1 glass
- Cheddar cheese: 500 g

Meanwhile, boil the pasta until al dente, then drain the water. Add the cooked pasta to the pan with the meat and mix. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
