Vegetarian pizza is a harmony of freshness and rich flavor embodied in a classic Italian dish. Its roots trace back to Mediterranean cuisine traditions, where vegetables, cheese, and aromatic herbs play a key role. The tender dough topped with tomato sauce is enriched with two types of cheese: stretchy grated and delicate feta, creating a unique texture. The sweetness of ripe tomatoes is complemented by the spiciness of Italian herbs, while fresh arugula adds lightness and sophistication. Adding balsamic vinegar before serving enhances the brightness of flavors. This pizza is perfect for a light dinner or a cozy evening with loved ones, pleasing both gourmets and health-conscious eaters.

Line a baking dish with parchment paper and grease it with olive oil. Place the dough in it and make holes with a fork. Cover the dough with tomato base and sprinkle grated cheese on top. Arrange sliced tomatoes over the cheese, crumble feta by hand and sprinkle it on the pizza. Sprinkle more grated cheese and add Italian herbs again. Send it to the oven at 180 degrees Celsius. (If the dough is very thin, 15-20 minutes should be enough.) Before serving, sprinkle with arugula. (Balsamic vinegar can also be added if desired.)
