Neapolitan pizza is a classic dish of Italian cuisine, admired for its simplicity and rich flavor. Its roots trace back to Naples, the birthplace of traditional pizza with thin crust and aromatic sauce. The crispy base topped with a delicate layer of Neapolitan sauce, fresh tomatoes, sweet peppers, and melted cheese creates a harmony of flavors. This recipe is perfect for a cozy family dinner or a fun gathering with friends. The ease of preparation and accessible ingredients make Neapolitan pizza a favorite choice for home cooks looking to bring a touch of Italian warmth into their kitchens.

1
Grease the baking tray with sunflower oil. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 6-8 mm. Make edges from the dough. Spread a thin layer of Neapolitan sauce on the dough.
- Yeast puff pastry: 400 g
- Neapolitan sauce: 4 tablespoons
2
Slice the tomatoes thinly across and lay them in a single layer. Thinly slice the pepper and place it on top of the tomatoes. Sprinkle cheese on top (in my case, thinly slice Tilsiter cheese - a good taste of melted cheese).
- Tomatoes: 2 pieces
- Sweet pepper: 1 piece
- Grated cheese: 300 g
3
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
