Baked pasta with cheese, ham, and peas is a cozy dish that blends the creaminess of melted cheese, the tenderness of ham, and the slight sweetness of green peas. It embodies the best traditions of Italian cuisine, where pasta is a symbol of home warmth and gastronomic pleasure. Farfalle or 'butterflies' perfectly hold the creamy sauce, while the baked cracker crust adds a crunchy texture. This dish has become popular outside Italy due to its simplicity and rich flavor. It is perfect for a family dinner; easy to prepare and its combination of ingredients makes it balanced and nutritious.
