Turkey and sage pizza is an exquisite blend of Italian traditions and the delicate flavor of turkey. The dish's roots trace back to medieval Italy, where sage was valued for its aromatic and healing properties. The crispy wheat flour base, soaked in tomato paste and spices, creates a rich flavor ensemble. Juicy turkey baked under a layer of melted cheese adds tenderness to every note of the dish. The finishing touch is eggs that add a creamy texture and sage that imparts a subtle spicy freshness. This pizza is perfect for cozy evenings when you want to enjoy something refined yet comforting. It pairs excellently with light white wine or herbal tea that highlight its aromatic facets.
