Pizza "Margarita" with two cheeses

Pizza Margherita with two cheeses is a true embodiment of Italian gastronomy, combining simplicity and exquisite taste. This classic recipe dates back to 1889 when chef Raffaele Esposito made a pizza in honor of Queen Margherita of Savoy, decorating it with the colors of the Italian flag: red tomato sauce, white mozzarella, and green basil. The version with parmesan adds richness to the flavor, turning the thin crust into a base for a harmonious blend of cheeses. The crispy crust, rich tomato sauce infused with garlic and basil aroma, tender mozzarella, and tangy parmesan make this pizza an ideal choice for family dinners or cozy evenings with friends. It is baked to a golden crust and served hot, revealing the full palette of Italian cuisine flavors.
