Tuna pasta is a simple and elegant dish of Italian cuisine that combines the tenderness of pasta, the richness of tomato sauce, and the spiciness of tuna. The history of this dish is rooted in Mediterranean gastronomy traditions where seafood holds a special place. Aromatic herbs, garlic, and onion give the sauce a rich flavor, while white wine adds a subtle acidity. Gruyère cheese melts smoothly into the hot pasta, enriching it with a creamy texture. This dish is suitable for both a cozy family dinner and a quick yet exquisite lunch. Due to its simplicity in preparation and accessible ingredients, tuna pasta is an excellent choice for those who appreciate taste and convenience.

Pour the pasta into a large pot of salted water, bring to a boil, and cook uncovered. When the water boils again, reduce the heat so that the water continues to boil and cook for another 10-12 minutes. Drain through a large colander, rinse under cold water, and set aside.
