Clean and rinse the shrimp (preferably langoustines or scampi), cut into 2 cm pieces.
- Shrimps: 200 g

Peel the garlic, but do not cut it.
- Garlic: 3 cloves

In a thick-bottomed pan, heat olive oil, add peeled garlic and large pieces of chili pepper.

Add shrimp to the pan and salt to taste.
- Shrimps: 200 g
- Butter: 70 g

Constantly stir with a wooden stick while removing the garlic to prevent burning.

After a minute, add brandy or white wine, tomato sauce (or sautéed tomatoes), cream, and reduce the heat to low.
- Dry white wine: 20 ml
- Tomato sauce: 150 g
- Cream: 100 ml

Drop the gnocchi into boiling water for 1 minute, then drain and add to the shrimp sauce.
- Gnocchi: 400 g
