Bacalau cod

Bacalhau is the heart of Portuguese cuisine, infused with Mediterranean flavors. This recipe originates from the age-old traditions of Portugal's fish gastronomy, where dried and salted cod was the basis of many dishes. The tender fish infused with aromas of onion, garlic, and bay leaf pairs with crispy potato chips to create a unique contrast of textures. Whipped eggs add richness while parsley and olives finish the composition with fresh notes. Bacalhau is perfect for cozy family dinners as well as festive feasts, embodying the richness of Portuguese gastronomy. With each bite, one can feel the warmth of the southern sun and the sea breeze that permeates the narrow streets of Lisbon.
