Chicken in honey-soy sauce is a harmony of flavors where tender chicken fillet is infused with a deep, rich sauce with Eastern notes. Honey gives the dish a sweet caramel softness, while soy sauce and ginger add spiciness. This combination came to us from Asian cuisine but has become popular in Europe over time. The dish is perfect for a cozy family dinner or an impressive presentation for guests. Served with a side of rice or fresh vegetables, it brings warmth and richness to every bite. Easy to prepare, it allows you to feel like a skilled chef, creating a restaurant impression in your home kitchen.

1
Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Fry the chopped fillet in olive/sunflower oil until almost fully cooked. Transfer the fillet to a plate.
- Chicken breast: 1 piece
2
In the same pan where you just fried the chicken, pour in soy sauce, water, vinegar, honey, and thinly sliced (2-3mm) ginger. Stir the future sauce until the honey dissolves.
- Soy sauce: 70 ml
- Water: 100 ml
- Apple cider vinegar: 1 tablespoon
- Honey: 2 tablespoons
- Ginger root: 10 g
3
Add chicken to the sauce, reduce the heat to almost the lowest setting, and simmer the chicken for 15-20 minutes. The main thing is to evaporate the sauce and allow the chicken to absorb it as much as possible.
- Chicken breast: 1 piece
