Place pieces of beef in a large bowl, add starch, oil, soy sauce, salt, and sugar, mix well, and let marinate in the refrigerator.
- Beef: 250 g
- Cornstarch: 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Salt: to taste
- Sugar: 0.5 teaspoon

Peel the garlic and slice it thinly. Place the slices in a pan with olive oil and start heating on low until they turn golden. Stir occasionally to prevent the slices from burning.
- Garlic: 1 head

In 15 minutes, when the chips are ready, drain the oil through a sieve and place the chips in a small bowl, seasoning them with salt. Save the remaining oil for serving.

Rinse shiitake mushrooms under cold running water to wash off large grains of sand. Then pour boiling water over the mushrooms so that the water completely covers them. After 20 minutes, rinse the mushrooms in cold water and let excess moisture drain for a while.
- Dried Shiitake Mushrooms: 6 pieces

Rinse the rice under cold running water, drain the excess liquid; place the rice in a pot and cover with 5 cups of water. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil. Once the water boils, reduce the heat and cover again for 15 minutes. Afterward, stir the rice to prevent burning and cover with the lid again.
- Brown rice: 250 g

After 15 minutes, stir the rice again and add the chopped mushrooms.

After 20 minutes, add the marinated beef pieces, stir, and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes until the meat is fully cooked. Then add 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
