Chicken wings in honey marinade

Chicken wings in honey marinade are a culinary art where the sweetness of honey meets the savory depth of soy sauce. This recipe, inspired by European cuisine, gives the wings a rich flavor with a caramelized crust. The honey marinade with lemon and garlic fills the meat with tenderness, and the marinating time makes it especially juicy. Baked in the oven, the wings acquire an appetizing golden crust and delightful aroma. They are perfect as an appetizer for friendly gatherings or as a main dish complemented by fresh vegetables or aromatic sides. The combination of sweet, sour, and salty makes them versatile – they will become a favorite treat on any table.

1
Thoroughly wash the chicken wings, dry them with a paper towel, divide each wing into two parts (optional), place in a bowl, add salt (be careful with salt as there is soy sauce in the marinade), pepper, any spices of your choice and mix everything.
- Chicken wings: 700 g
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste
- Spices: 1 teaspoon
2
Prepare the marinade. Melt the honey in the microwave until liquid, add the juice of half a lemon, soy sauce, vegetable oil, squeeze in two cloves of garlic, and mix everything.
- Honey: 1 tablespoon
- Lemon: 0.5 piece
- Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic: 2 cloves
3
Pour the prepared marinade over the wings, mix well to ensure the marinade is distributed over all the wings. Cover and leave at room temperature for half an hour, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours (if left overnight, the wings absorb well and become especially juicy).
- Honey: 1 tablespoon
- Lemon: 0.5 piece
- Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic: 2 cloves
4
Place the marinated wings on a baking sheet (form) lightly greased with vegetable oil in a single layer and send to a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes, after 20 minutes flip the wings and bake for another 10-15 minutes. Cooking time depends on your oven and may vary.
- Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons
