Chicken thighs in honey-mustard-soy sauce

60 minutes
Honey-mustard-soy sauce chicken thighs are a true gastronomic delight, combining depth of flavor and tenderness of texture. This recipe rooted in European cuisine masterfully blends the sweetness of honey, the spiciness of mustard, and the rich taste of soy sauce, creating a harmonious dish with a caramelized crust and juicy marinated meat. Perfect for a cozy family dinner or festive gathering. Marinating gives the chicken thighs delightful softness while baking adds a golden crispy crust. Serve with a light salad or roasted vegetables to highlight the richness of flavor.

1
We take a bowl and place the thighs in it. We add spices, salt, pepper (I also like to add paprika, but everyone has their own preference)) and add olive oil to coat the chicken.
- Chicken thighs: 1 kg
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste
- Olive oil: 3 tablespoons
2
In a small bowl, pour soy sauce, honey, and mustard. Mix well. Add to the meat and mix thoroughly.
- Soy sauce: 3 tablespoons
- Honey: 3 tablespoons
- Mustard: 3 tablespoons
3
It is advisable to cover the bowl with a plate or plastic wrap and place it in the fridge overnight, but if there is no time, you can cover it with a lid and put it in the fridge for a couple of hours.
4
After that, take it out of the fridge and preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Meanwhile, grease the baking tray with oil and place the chicken on it. And of course, pour over the resulting sauce :)
- Olive oil: 3 tablespoons
5
Bake for 50 minutes (optimal time for a good crust and meat to separate from the bone)
6
We turn off the oven and let the chicken 'finish cooking'. Bon appétit!
