Pork ribs in marinade are a true celebration of flavor and aroma, worthy of the best European traditions. Thanks to the combination of honey, soy sauce, spices, and onion, the meat acquires a rich sweet-spicy taste and incredible tenderness. The history of this dish is rooted in barbecue cuisine where marinades play a key role in creating juicy meat. Baked ribs become the perfect treat for both a cozy family dinner and a festive feast. They can be served with vegetables, potato stew or salads to enhance gastronomic enjoyment. An important secret is marinating: the longer the meat rests in the aromatic mixture, the richer its flavor becomes. This dish captivates from the first bite, remaining in memory as a symbol of true gastronomic harmony.

Cut the pork ribs in a way that makes them easy to fit in the baking dish. No more than three ribs in one piece.
- Pork ribs: 2 kg

We are making a marinade. We cut the onion into rings. We peel the garlic. We mix everything together. We crush the onion to release its juice.
- Onion: 1 head
- Garlic: 5 clove

In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, salt, pepper, meat/shashlik seasoning, and water. (By the way, adding a tablespoon of red wine, not instead of anything, but together with the other ingredients, will make the ribs tender where there is more meat.) Mix well until homogeneous and pour into the bowl with onion and garlic.

We marinate the ribs and leave them in a cool place for 1.5–3 hours, periodically basting the meat with the remaining marinade.

After that, we place the ribs on a baking tray or in a baking dish. This is a matter of taste: you can use food foil and lay the ribs directly on it, covering them from above. You can also do without foil; the ribs will just get slightly charred. Place onion rings from the marinade on top of the ribs.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Place the ribs for 1-2 hours, periodically basting with marinade.

Decorate the ready ribs with vegetable slices. If there are no slices, it's worth making a side dish. I preferred a stew with mushrooms and potatoes.
