Lazy cabbage rolls with tomato sauce are a simplified version of a traditional Russian dish that retains all its richness and aroma. The recipe's origins are linked to the desire to simplify the cooking process of classic cabbage rolls by eliminating the need to wrap the filling in cabbage leaves. In this version, juicy chicken mince is combined with stewed cabbage, creating a soft, tender texture. The aroma of cumin notes, complemented by a slight acidity from white wine, makes the flavor particularly deep. Tomatoes and cream form a velvety sauce that soaks into the cabbage rolls, giving them richness and harmony. The dish is perfect for a cozy family dinner, providing warmth and comfort in every spoonful.
