Homemade chicken casserole is a cozy and aromatic dish that combines the tenderness of chicken meat, the juiciness of vegetables, and a delicious cheese crust. The casserole has its roots in European culinary traditions, where simplicity and harmony of flavors create perfect family dinners. Potatoes serve as a sturdy foundation, absorbing the juices of the meat and vegetables, giving the dish softness. Bell peppers and tomatoes fill it with freshness and a slight tanginess, while dill adds hints of spicy aroma. The casserole is perfect for cozy evenings or festive tables, delighting with its tender texture and rich flavor. It is easy to prepare, and the combination of familiar ingredients makes it a favorite dish for the whole family.
