Meatballs in tomato sauce are a cozy dish of Russian cuisine that exudes the warmth of home. Its roots go deep into traditional Russian cooking, where the combination of meatballs with aromatic tomato sauce has become a symbol of a hearty family dinner. Tender turkey meatballs infused with spices and fresh herbs gain a special flavor when simmered in a thick, rich sauce with hints of garlic and onion. The freshness of coriander and spicy cumin add an Eastern depth to the dish, while the tenderness of potatoes makes it soft and juicy. These meatballs can be served with rice, mashed potatoes, or fresh bread, creating a harmonious ensemble of textures and aromas that warms the soul.
