The Brazilian staple, like Kuban borscht or Uzbek pilaf, is both everyday and festive food, routine and ritual, strict code and endless freedom. The base is fried pork with beans and rice, and around it is a legion of possible plots . We offer you one of the versions of feijoada as a way to diversify a World Cup viewing party and any other dinner that is not related to football.

Feijoada is a deeply traditional dish, not very appealing in appearance but very flavorful. It consists of five distinct components: black beans stewed with pork.
- Black beans: 500 g
- Bacon: 120 g
- Smoked pork belly: 400 g
- Pork shoulder: 500 g
- Hunter's sausages: 400 g
- Smoked pork knuckle: 1 kg
- Garlic: 20 cloves
- Bay leaf: 4 pieces
- Ground cayenne pepper: pinch
- Olive oil: 280 ml
