Chicken skewers in the oven

Chicken skewers in the oven are a simple and incredibly delicious dish of Russian cuisine, perfect for a cozy family dinner. Tender pieces of chicken fillet soaked in the aroma of spices and the tenderness of kefir marinade acquire juiciness and rich flavor. Soaked wooden skewers prevent the meat from drying out, while baking first under foil and then with an open surface gives an appetizing golden crust. This dish pairs well with fresh vegetables, light sauces, and side dishes of rice or potatoes. Chicken skewers are conveniently served in portions, making them a great option not only for home gatherings but also for festive buffets.

1
Soak the skewers in water for 20-30 minutes beforehand. This prevents them from burning during cooking and keeps the meat from drying out.
