Greek meatballs with zucchini

Keftedes cutlets are cooked everywhere in their homeland of Greece and are usually served with tomato sauce or yogurt tzatziki. Every housewife has her own recipe for meatballs: some add eggplant, feta and aromatic herbs to the mince , some make cutlets from lamb or pork, and some from chicken. If you cook juicy and aromatic meatballs according to this recipe, you will get keftedes with mint and spicy tomato sauce, very close to the Greek original.

Add grated zucchini, chopped onion, and garlic to the minced meat. Also, add breadcrumbs, tomato paste, and eggs. Season with salt, add spices, and mix well.
- Minced meat: 600 g
- Young zucchini: 2 pieces
- Onion: 1 piece
- Garlic: 3 cloves
- Ground crackers: 3 tablespoons
- Tomato paste: 2 tablespoons
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Basil: to taste
- Fresh mint: to taste
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste

Form small meatballs from the obtained mass.

Place on a baking sheet lined with greased parchment.

Place in a moderately heated oven.
