Baked carp or catfish with potatoes and onions is a true decoration of Ukrainian cuisine, embodying the traditions of home cooking. Fish marinated in lemon juice and spices acquires tenderness and rich flavor, while the golden crust formed by mayonnaise makes it especially appetizing. Onions add a piquant sweetness, and potatoes provide softness and heartiness. This recipe is perfect for a family dinner or festive table. Garnished with greens and bright vegetables, it pleases the eye and awakens the appetite. Carp or catfish baked this way retain their juiciness and aroma, while lemon wedges inserted into cuts add subtle citrus notes. Served hot, surrounded by fresh vegetables or a light salad, it creates an atmosphere of coziness and hospitality.
