Spaghetti with bacon and garlic is a simple yet elegant dish of European cuisine that captivates with its rich flavor and aroma. Inspired by Italian traditions, it combines the tenderness of pasta, the spiciness of garlic, and the crispy texture of baked bacon. The preparation doesn't require complex techniques, but the result is impressive: an appetizing dish with a deep umami-rich taste. Parmesan plays a special role by adding exquisite creaminess and completing the composition. It's an ideal option for a cozy dinner when you crave something hearty and aromatic without extra hassle. Spaghetti pairs wonderfully with red wine or fresh salad and can also serve as a base for variations with different herbs and spices.

1
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Cut the bacon into 2x2 cm squares, place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake for 5-6 minutes until crispy. Collect the rendered fat.

Boil the spaghetti in plenty of salted water until al dente. Peel the garlic cloves, cut each lengthwise into several pieces, and lightly sauté in olive oil in a deep skillet.
- Spaghetti: 400 g
- Garlic: 6 g
- Olive oil: 5 tablespoon
3
Drain the cooked spaghetti in a colander, collecting 2-3 tablespoons of liquid. Place the spaghetti in a pan with garlic, adding the collected liquid. Season with pepper and sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of Parmesan. Mix everything well and serve on individual plates. Top the dish with bacon and garnish with the remaining grated cheese. Optionally, drizzle the spaghetti with the fat rendered from the bacon.
