This rich and aromatic Mexican dish made from ground beef and beans offers a perfect blend of spicy seasonings and deep flavor. The origins of this recipe delve into the depths of Mexican culinary tradition, where beans and meat are key ingredients. Tomatoes add a pleasant tang to the dish, while adjika adds vibrant heat, creating a rich flavor bouquet. Canned and green beans enrich the texture of the dish, and cheese melts to make it especially appetizing. This dish is perfect for warm family dinners as well as parties where you want to offer guests something special. It can be served as a standalone dish or with crispy corn tortillas. Easy to prepare yet full of flavors, it will become a favorite recipe in your collection.

1
In a deep skillet, sauté the onion in butter or vegetable oil until translucent.
- Onion: 1 piece
- Butter: 30 g
2
Add the minced meat to the onion, fry until cooked, breaking up the lumps with a spatula (if the minced meat was frozen, it should be thawed first).
- Ground beef: 350 g
3
Add tomato paste and adjika to the minced meat and mix well (especially if you are using Abkhazian adjika, which is very spicy, and more than half a teaspoon). I don't add salt because tomato paste is often salty, and I don't add pepper since I'm using spicy adjika in large amounts.
- Tomato paste: 3 tablespoons
- Adjika: to taste
4
Add red canned beans to the prepared minced meat (I like it without tomato), draining the liquid from the can first. If you have a bit more minced meat, you can add a small can or half a regular can of white beans without tomato. If you like corn, you can add a small can. I don't like corn, so I make it without. Mix well.
- Canned red beans: 1 jar
- Canned corn: to taste

Frozen green beans and peas are sent there immediately (if there are no peas, it's okay, but it's prettier with them). Stir, cover with a lid, and cook for 5-7 minutes until the peas are ready.
- Green beans (frozen): 150 g
- Frozen green peas: 100 g
6
When serving, sprinkle with grated cheese. The more cheese and the better it melts (especially if too much adjika is added), the tastier it will be.
- Cheese: 100 g
