Chicken drumsticks with plums

45 minutes
A simple, but not obvious way to bake chicken drumsticks. The recipe is divided into three stages: first, the chicken is heated with oil, salt and pepper, then ginger and chili pepper are added, and the drumsticks spend the last 15 minutes under a layer of plums - their sweet and sour taste will perfectly complement the taste of the bird. If you clean the chili from seeds and white veins, it will not be so spicy.

1
In a bowl, mix chicken drumsticks with oil, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Place on a baking sheet and send to an oven preheated to 200 degrees for twenty-five minutes.
- Chicken drumstick: 2 kg
- Olive oil: 50 ml
- Soy sauce: 50 ml
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste

2
Chop the chili, roughly chop the garlic cloves, and finely chop the ginger. Sprinkle this mixture over the chicken and put it in the oven for another ten minutes.
- Red chili pepper: 4 pieces
- Garlic: 4 cloves
- Ginger: 50 g

3
Cut the plums in half and remove the pits. Take the baking tray again, add the plums, and return to the oven for another fifteen minutes. Serve the finished drumsticks with mashed potatoes or plain boiled rice — to taste. Garnish with chopped cilantro.
- Red plums: 1 kg
- Chopped cilantro (coriander): 20 g
