Liver gravy

Liver gravy is a rich and aromatic dish of European cuisine that combines the softness of chicken liver with the tenderness of a thick sauce. Traditionally, such gravies are prepared to complement side dishes like mashed potatoes or pasta, creating a harmonious blend of flavors. Sautéed onions and carrots add a sweet depth to the sauce, while flour makes it velvety. The addition of tomato paste reveals a slight tanginess that enhances the liver's flavor. This dish is perfect for a family dinner when you want something nourishing yet simple to prepare.
