Baked salmon with pumpkin and sweet potato is a harmonious combination of tender Atlantic salmon with the rich flavor of roasted vegetables. This recipe has roots in European cuisine, where the balance of textures and aromas is valued. Olive oil and soy sauce enhance the fish's natural juiciness, while spices add a spicy note. Pumpkin gives the dish a sweet undertone, while sweet potato adds softness and richness. The dish is baked in the oven, allowing the ingredients to retain their benefits and reveal their full depth of flavor. It’s not only an exquisite dinner but also a great option for healthy eating since salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and vegetables provide essential vitamins. It can be served with a glass of white wine or a light lemon-yogurt based sauce.
