Stacks with minced meat, mushrooms, and grated potatoes are a hearty homemade dish that combines the tenderness of minced meat, the aroma of mushrooms, and an appetizing crust of potatoes and cheese. The name 'stacks' refers to peasant heritage when layers of ingredients resemble sheaves of hay stacked in the field. Each layer complements the others: juicy meat, soft mushrooms with onions, zesty eggs with mayonnaise, crispy potatoes, and stretchy cheese. This dish is perfect for a family dinner or festive table, delighting with its taste and original presentation. Baked in the oven, stacks acquire a golden crust and rich flavor. They can be complemented with fresh vegetables or a light sauce to make the meal even more harmonious and appetizing.
