Chicken shashlik in the oven
8 servings
50 minutes
Oven chicken shashlik is a homemade alternative to traditional shashlik, rooted in Eastern and Russian cuisine. This cooking method allows you to enjoy juicy, aromatic meat without the need to light coals. Tender pieces of chicken fillet are soaked in a spicy marinade of soy sauce and ketchup, giving the dish an appetizing balance of sweetness and saltiness. Baked at the optimal temperature, the shashlik develops a golden crust while retaining its juiciness inside. It's an excellent option for family dinners or festive tables, especially in cold seasons when going outdoors isn't always possible. It can be served with fresh vegetables, herbs, and light sauces that highlight the rich flavor of the dish.
