This Mediterranean recipe for couscous with mango, mint, and turmeric is a true symphony of flavors and aromas. The mango caramelizes in olive oil, revealing its sweetness and juiciness, creating the perfect base for light, airy couscous. The added spices – cinnamon, turmeric, and nutmeg – give the dish a warm Eastern touch, while fresh mint refreshes and adds a bright contrast. Almond flakes and apple slices complete the composition, adding texture and extra depth of flavor. This dish is perfect for a light dinner or as an exotic side to meat or fish dishes. It pairs wonderfully with a glass of white wine or citrus tea, turning an ordinary meal into a gastronomic journey through the Mediterranean.
