Idaho Potato

Idaho Potato is one of the most frequently prepared potato side dishes in the world. Despite its American origin and original name (potato is simply the main agricultural crop there), in Russia it is better known as country-style potatoes. Most often it is served with fried meat. The meat can be in any form: steak, burger, thin strips. However, "Idaho" is quite convincing even without protein bonds. On its own. Like its own state of Idaho.

1
Wash the potatoes well (no need to peel), cut them lengthwise into eight wedges, and place them in a pot with cold salted water.
- New potatoes: 10 pieces
- Salt: to taste

2
Bring to a boil and cook for 2-3 minutes. Drain the water and let the potatoes cool.

3
Mix olive oil with finely chopped herbs, sauce, and crushed garlic. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer, dipping the wedges in the prepared mixture first.
- Extra virgin olive oil: 250 ml
- Dill: 1 bunch
- Parsley: 1 bunch
- Garlic: 3 cloves
- TABASCO® Original Red: 1 teaspoon

4
Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 200 degrees.
