Grilled chicken with salt and pepper is a simple yet elegant recipe of Russian cuisine that highlights the natural flavor of the meat. The minimal spice set—just coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper—allows you to enjoy the juiciness and aroma of the chicken. This cooking method traces back to traditional Russian ways of roasting meat over an open fire, where simplicity was key to preserving the natural taste of ingredients. The crispy roasted crust, tender and juicy meat with subtle spicy notes make this dish versatile. It is perfect for both family dinners and festive gatherings. The chicken pairs especially well with bread salad, adding freshness and balance to the flavor. This dish embodies the simplicity and dignity of classic Russian cooking.
