In a pan, mix cumin, coriander, ajwain, cardamom, clove, bay leaf, and cinnamon. Heat on medium for about 2 minutes until a characteristic aroma appears. Cool and grind in a coffee grinder.
- Cumin seeds (jeera): 0.8 teaspoon
- Coriander seeds: 0.8 teaspoon
- Ajgon: 0.5 teaspoon
- Cardamom pods: 3 pieces
- Bay leaf: 1 piece
- Cinnamon sticks: 1 piece
- Carnation: 2 pieces

In a bowl, mix ground spices, yogurt, ginger, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic. Transfer to a plastic bag and add chopped salmon. Mix, seal the bag, and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Natural yoghurt: 3 tablespoons
- Grated ginger: 1 tablespoon
- Salt: 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice: 1 tablespoon
- Red pepper flakes: 0.3 teaspoon
- Garlic: 3 cloves
- Salmon fillet: 1 kg
