Vareniki can be prepared in advance and frozen to delight yourself and loved ones with this simple yet unforgettable treat at the right moment.

Sift the flour.
- Wheat flour: 3 glasss

Break the egg.

Mash the egg with flour using a fork.

Add half a teaspoon of salt.
- Salt: 0.5 teaspoon

Pour boiling water in a thin stream.
- Boiling water: 200 ml

Start kneading the dough immediately. While it's hot — with a fork, then with hands.

During the mixing process, gradually add 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
- Vegetable oil: 3 tablespoons

When the dough becomes smooth and elastic, cover it with plastic wrap or a towel and let it rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.

Place the frozen berries in a strainer, but do not fully thaw the cherries to prevent them from releasing juice.
- Frozen cherries: 200 g

Roll out a thin layer of dough.

Use a glass or cup of the right diameter to cut out appropriately sized circles.

Spread the berries, sprinkle sugar on top, and form the dumplings. This should be done quickly and in small batches before the cherries melt. Boil water in advance.

Dumplings can be boiled until cooked for 3-4 minutes, or frozen in the freezer for later preparation.
