Legend has it that such rolls originated in the northern regions of Italy, where fresh herbs and goat cheese formed the basis of rustic recipes. In this roll, delicate dough envelops a fragrant filling of spinach and tangy goat cheese, creating a harmony of flavors – the freshness of greens, a slight spiciness from mustard, and the creamy softness of cheese.
